Does it cost more to call an "087" number?
No, it does not cost extra to dial or for someone to call your own 087 number – it incurs the same cost as a normal landline.
What do I need to do to transfer my Telkom voice landline to my Voice package?
You will need to supply us with your latest Telkom telephone bill (please note that your account needs to be settled, or Telkom will not release your number) and an authorisation letter which will be supplied to you.
How long does the Telkom line transfer take?
It can take up to 14 working days (once your account is settled).
Who will setup and configure my Voice phone?
We pre-configure all Voice phones purchased through us with your VoIP setting. We will then courier your ready-to-use VoIP phone. All you will then need to do is plug it into your router, enter the pin we supply you and you are good to go
Can I use my Voice phone without or during the Telkom number transfer?
Yes. All Voice packages come with a unique phone number. The number is yours to keep.
Will VoIP only work over Fibre?
While we recommend utilising VoIP over a Fibre connection due to reliability and a steady upload speed, there are still alternatives you can use that will provide a working VoIP solution.
